At LD Canada West College, we welcome individuals who are passionate about pursuing a career as an Executive Assistant.
To ensure a successful learning experience, we have established certain admission requirements. High school graduation or equivalent and an admissions interview with our Dean and/or Director of Admissions are mandatory for enrollment.
If English is not your first language, meeting English proficiency requirements is essential. Learn more about our admission process and start your journey toward an exciting career.
Admission Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent, or mature student status.
(19+ on the first day of study).

Admissions interview: in person or by Skype with the Dean and/or Director of Admissions
Language Proficiency requirements:
All applicants must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- IELTS (Academic Format) 5.5 band. TOEFL 75 (IBT) TOEFL 197 (CBT), TOIC (Academic) 650 or
- Studying for at least two years at a secondary or post-secondary level in an English-speaking country with all courses taught in English (transcripts and/or supporting letter will be required)
In special circumstances to be assessed and approved by the admissions team, applicants can meet the language requirements by completing one of the two language tests below:
* Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test (CLBPT)
with a minimum level of 6
* Duolingo English Test: at a minimum score of 85-90
These are available to:
- International students that are unable to get proof of attending programs/courses at the secondary or post-secondary level for at least 2 years that were taught in English.
- International students that have completed language proficiency programs/examinations but fall outside of the 2-year life span.
- International students that are currently residing in an English-speaking country. Normally awaiting documentation relating to permanent residency or citizenship.
- International students whose applications are submitted outside of the timespan that allows them to complete an in-class or distance language proficiency program in time for their desired program start date.
